Smartflex technology allows for the shaft to flex when passing or shooting for optimized energy loading in any position. Smartply fiber angles are optimized in up to 25 layers of unidirectional carbon fiber in the shaft wall, creating industry-leading impact resistance and strength with preserving flexibility.
The SF 4.0 Goalie a Flex 2, meaning it is the stiffest of the SF 4.0 series. Not only do composite shafts allow for a flex for harder shooting, but the carbon fibers are lighter than a normal alloy shaft, allowing for quicker hand speed and more saves.
